30 days of Summer

“On a Wednesday, in a cafe. I watched it begin again.”

Taylor Swift.

Now it wasn’t a Wednesday. It was Saturday. And I wasn’t in a cafe. I was in my room… having a coffee though, So I suppose that counts for something? I was with a friend and we got to talking about a plethora of things; concerning life. Past, present and future.

I’ve been meaning to get back to you, my sunny side of life. It’s been a long time coming. I’ll admit, I’ve been making excuses. For instance; I don’t have a comeback gimmick…and so on… But one thing was evident, on Saturday afternoon. The urgency. There’s no time like the present to make haste. So hello old friend? It’s me. So nice to see you again. I’ve been missing you.

Already there’s an icy nip in the air and it won’t be long till the sunshine is gone. The web of ideas I had been spinning mentally, came suddenly back to life on my screen on the first day of April.  A perfect four weeks to put pen to paper. To set a foundation. 30 days has April! Shall we begin?

  • I tasked myself to blog something, everyday for 30 days. Bye bye procrastination.
  • I said I would implement a strict food and eating plan for 30 days. Oh Sugar.
  • I will work out for 30 days…
  • Learn something new every day…deliberately
  • Share some sunshine for 30 days in 30 ways?
  • et cetera

Forgive the list. I love lists. So I’ll just leave this here.

Here’s to 30 days of Summer!

I hope you stay.

P.s. I know it’s already day four…forgive me? I tried to ignore my technological OCD (it’s a thing), but alas. Only now can I breathe a little and say, I think this looks okay.
